Yvette Planes brings over 10 years of nursing experience to her position as Nurse Practitioner with Renew Regenerative Medicine.
Yvette received her first undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine and was a massage therapist for five years. After receiving her second bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, Yvette worked as a Registered Nurse in orthopedics providing advanced clinical care, including pre and post-operative care, to orthopedic patients in an acute care setting.
Yevette further honed her clinical assessment, diagnostic and procedural skills as a float nurse within four local hospitals and a variety of settings, including medical surgery, general surgery, orthopedic, surgical oncology and rehabilitation.
As a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Florida Southwestern University she has provided clinical leadership, supervision and education to nursing students in an acute care setting. Yvette is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients. This commitment and her desire to further develop her nursing skills, led her to become a Nurse Practitioner.
She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and participates in regular training and education to continue to improve her clinical knowledge and skills.
Her warm and comforting approach, dedication to compassionate patient care and her wealth of experience enables her to put patients at ease while providing them the highest level of care. Yvette believes that every patient deserves to receive evidence-based, innovative care so that they can live their best lives free from unnecessary pain, illness and physical limitation. Yvette is passionate about helping patients at Renew Regenerative Medicine harness and utilize regenerative and restorative medicine to overcome their illness and improve their physical and emotional functioning.
